--> Splintered

I've locked this forum because the GPG splintered over into [url=http://gpg.ixyl.co.uk/forums]gpg.ixyl.co.uk[/gpg]. Posts remain, just in case.

The KGB Images

Unfortunately I can't find any of the KGB badges... been through a bunch of archive DVDs and all the backups appear to come from the latter mental red/blue era, where I don't believe we used ranks. Anyone know where we might find them again? archive.org didn't offer any pointers although I haven't p...

Hello again!

After 2 years of 99.99% downtime, this forum returns, in part for historical/archival purposes, and in part because it would be 7 years old. Happy birthday and welcome back :bg:

Yeah, I made that association too but I think when I looked they seemed a bit pricey, or at least there weren't enough cheap PCI-E ones to make it look like there were any decent 80-120 models? Happy to pass on suggestions though.

Cheers Pat.

New PC Build - specs OK?

Been a LONG time since I looked at any of this - suggesting the following for a basic make-over: AMD Athlon 64 3200+ (Venice), 104.56 inc VAT http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=88109 ECS NForce4-A939 (K51150), 49.77 inc VAT http://w...

[Music] Sense

Hmm. I came across Sense's fabulous "Frome" while listening to last.fm (SCROBBLE WHILE YOU CAN!) and then meandered around the web as you do, discovering archive.org's magnificent array of open-source/creative commons music - ambient linked here , and then finally stumbled across what seem...

So how's it going?

Long time no see. Recently the days are confused and the nights run quickly. I continue to have two jobs in the same office, one milking nearly double the pay of the other, one having supervision over the other. It is bewildering, but will end in two weeks time when my SQL empire is presented to our...

£50 Electric Guitar Package

It's cheap, it's cheerful, it'll last you 6 months before you need to move onwards and upwards, but it's £50 for an electric guitar, practice amp, spare strings, etc.

Comments on that blog:
jesus christ. that's just about heartbreaking. i've heard reports of the New Orleans Museum of Art having electricity and air conditioning, but they won't let anyone in because they don't want to endanger the artwork. I'm an art major and I think that's barbaric.

A long time updating:

Trick Daddy - Sugar (AFUCKS Mix)

Mendelssohn - Wedding March (Lyxi's MacPherson Dance Spin)

Tool - Eulogy (Lyxi Mix #10) (something awful. I apologise. But we must share abhorrence as well as beauty. Shit on skin etc.)

New Orleans Updates

Don't know if you have all been tracking the directNIC etc. blogging activities about trying a web hosting company to survive and outlive Hurricane Katrina, but it reads like some weird surreal shit and again puts Bush's fancy remarks to shame:
