Mmm. V nice selection Hano... Didn't know Pitchshifter were still going... How about Depth Charge?
The Queen & the Soldier
Its along time since I last listened to this album. I've got most of them on tape but my mother has my tape deck atm... And yup its still capable of moving me to tears - just that one dischord, amongst her almost lilting style...
Rosemary's Baby
Interesting as power chord metal goes but puts me in mind of Disco Volante by Mr Bungle which is far, far better and much more dynamic...
Check it out.
Acid Drops
Hmm, most promising. Goes well with a bottle of wine
I like the post-rock bit at the end... You're into Bowery Electric, yeah?
Floppy Disc
Just the same old pitchshifter, really. Doesn't do any harm as background music...
Rain Dogs
"... Her long hair black as a raven..." Gah, I'll never forget sitting in a room full of stoned people being introduced to Tom by one of the more adventurous friends from school years...He made everyone sit huddled in a darkened room whilst listening to the Black Rider... The only light in the room was a little candle spinning atop the record... Imagine that whilst listening to a breakneck polka and smoking big spliffs... Macabre stuff but very funny... Them was the days
