Preliminary query really until I get some other stuff sorted out, but I would assume that if you had multiple domains active on the same content (mirroring) then you'd still be able to identify which domain was used to access it. For example, if we had ixyl.co.uk and slutfest.co.uk both active on ixyl's index page, you could use some scripting to identify which had been used to access it and act on that information subsequently.
Actually, I guess using HTTP_HOST in CGI or PHP should do the trick. Shouldn't it?
