I'll go first then

Place your hands - Bigpops (135K)

EDIT: Almost forgot to tell you.

This was played on my Squier strat, with the neck pickup, with the OD-1 + VO Drive (patch 6:3) set on the GT6. Digital output from th GT6 was recorded by cooledit via the S/PDIF input on my SBLive platinum 5.1.

Somehow I think the meagre riffs we pick aren't gonna be testing you much mate!

Now I don't know much about music as you will soon learn, but that was HOT, do you play in a band?

Alas No. If I ever meet any like minded people, maybe I will. I just wanna play good music, for fun. Trouble is, everyone wants to be a 'Rockstar', where I just want the rock bit.

Darren, you could honestly play session guitar and make a fair bit of cash doing it. The fact you could play that, studio quality pretty much straight away would stand you in good stead. :bg:

Okay guys, I was away for the weekend so if you give me a day to attempt it I'll try and have it done for tomorrow.

Just remember everything I do will be on a really crappy acoustic so this could sound interesting.

Don't worry mate. My playing is absolutely atrocious. I just started messing around with the Reef riff and it sounds awful. Give me a day though. :P

Right peeps, I'm having a bit of bother getting a decent recording happening. I've PM'd IceBus about it and hope to get something sorted ASAP.

I've finished it and its crap. The first bar is awful so pretend it's not there. You'll also need to turn it up a bit because it was played on a crappy acoustic guitar recorded with a crappy microphone using crappy windows. Once I've sorted out the hosting it'll be up. Hopefully by lunchtime.

Cheers to punky_munky for hosting it.

Like I said before, ignore the first bar.

I'll have my choice of what we should play picked by lunchtime.
