The reason why you can't quote Charmaka and Zathras is because both idiots use ICQ, and the ICQ icon is concealing the Quote icon. This ixyl template is now defunkt and won't be updated because the new one is my primary concern, so I'd recommend removing your ICQ numbers from your profile.

The New Posts issue I can't comment on. The mod isn't anything to do with me. Please do remember, however, that it DOESN'T discern amongst private forums (of which there are some that you can't access), and so might show posts that you'll never see.

rgr boss. Re the "new posts" thing, I'm talking about the red stars in forums and specifically the little yellow arrow/box thing that should take you to the latest post but keeps telling me there were no new posts since my last visit even though there were three minutes ago

Probably related to the Invalid_session some other users are having. Will be addressed some point soon when the database is upgraded.

AOL or Microsoft... Yeah, you're right, that is a tricky one. Did AOL ever have a "we reserve the right to read everything you say and use it for our own ends without paying you a penny" clause in their T&C?

Personally I prefer the ICQ-client method of chat to the MSN-client one anyway, but Trillian only has a global "close on send" option and it buggers your MSN conversations if you select it

Thanks to heavy-rotation's suggestion and some pretty bodged PHP coding by myself, you can now hover over the latest topic on the index page, and see the whole topic title rather than the truncated one.

(note that this isn't alt text, it shouldn't be alt text, and neither should you. Use TITLE)

It already does, just not on the ixyl you're using.

/forums are feature-locked. Unless a major security hole arises, nothing will change on them. They'll be superceded soon enough.
