The Ixyl Music Competition - Vote Now!
The Ixyl Music Competition!
Hello! We got there in the end. I present to you now original compositions and recordings created by our very own members, over the past six weeks. I implore you to explore and indulge in them, and to give feedback by voting as below. The identity of the track creators is currently secret - all will be revealed after the votes and results are out.
We'll be making three votes for each track - if you can't be bothered with that, at least try to vote in the overall category. The results and rankings will be formed solely from the overall category: the other two are for interest only but will hopefully be very useful for the creator's info. The Concept/Composition category represents the guts behind the piece - the melodies and rhythms, plus the general idea; the Production category is how polished and committed the track sounds.
How To Vote
1. First, download each of the tracks listed below.
2. Listen to all tracks with open mind and ears.
3. Score each track, out of five, with five being highest and 1 being lowest, on the following three criteria: Overall, Concept/Composition, and Production.
4. Submit your marks to me, Kajun by private message only, by 30th July 2003.
Example template:
000.mp3 -
Overall: 4
Concept/Composition: 3
Production: 4
-10.mp3 -
Overall: 1
Concept/Composition: 2
Production: 0
The Tracks
041 (1.92Mb / 2:06)
106 (5.32Mb / 4:35)
241 (9.23Mb / 7:40)
612 (12.0Mb / 9:42)
Any problems, please let me know. To repeat: please send your three votes per track to me by private message only by 30th July. Other types of submission will not be included, and only one set of votes per member will be permitted.
